YAY!

I think i'll probably do anything to take my time away from studying. Even watch really crappy stupid movies. But it's fun. If this were 2 years ago I'd be studying like a martyr...I don't even know what that means.

Working until 1AM at the library has it's pros and cons. One, I'm TIRED. And I can't get motivated to even READ my own PERSONAL reading. Not even school work. I refuse to do my school work tonight. I guess I'll get up tomorrow early and read my articles for my 9:15 class...I guess that's what coffee is for anyway. WAAAAAAAAAAAA

Another instance of "Fuck around the student" has happened. I applied for a scholarship to get some moola for school and you haev to be nominated by the university. It's a $50,000 scholarship which would be mega awesome for me. but i don't even get a freakin nomination? what the hell? it's obvious that when the honors college picks people to receive scholarship and things of the like that they just choose people who are far up their asses. I knew that in all likelyhood I probably wasn't going to be awarded this scholarship in the long run, but I thought I had a fairly good chance to be awarded the nomination from the honors college. guess I was wrong...again. Why do i KNOW that cronism is going on...because when i applied for scholarships long ago for england...SPECIFIC scholarship for going overseas to study abroad i didn't get a damn thing. it's not like my grades are bad, it's not like i don't show the need, it's not like i don't show activities - i do things!

Does anyone think i should write a strongly worded HAND WRITTEN letter to the honors college giving them my two cents? telling them that i think their college is a bunch of bullshit and the process of picking scholarship isn't based on need but who sucks up to who? what's the point then. it shouldn't be called a SCHOLARSHIP then, it should be called a PRIZE.

And PS, they didn't even send me a letter telling me that I wasn't chosen for just the nomination, they sent me a freaking email. What the hell?

Spring break is next week and I can't wait. Art Brut is gonna rock my world. Jason and I decided that the world is lucky that we're so busy cause if we weren't we're pretty sure we'd take it over.
